The project in action ...

It is  great to see so many charities and support groups like ours setting up across the UK. Providing a safe and welcoming space for individuals and families to openly talk about their feelings and well-being is paramount to the healing process.

Sadly services like ours have not always been quite so accessible or accepted and as a result people were left to just move on and suffer in silence. Many of our ladies and gents expressed how they wished, all those years ago they had like-minded people to turn to for support We listened and created Tale as old as time.

We have found that coffee mornings are a great way to form new bonds and chat in an informal and relaxed way. Participants are welcome to attend and contribute to discussion or sit quietly. We fully appreciate it can take time to feel comfortable enough to talk.  Look out for event dates across our website and social media pages.
