What is a Rainbow Baby?
A rainbow baby is the term used to describe a pregnancy or baby that is born following a loss of a baby or child. The expression, 'the rainbow following the storm' is sometimes used.
We know that having a baby after loss is a thought or plan filled with hope, anxiety and fear. At Finding Rainbows, we understand the range of emotions and thoughts that a Mum, Dad and family may go through.
Rainbow Baby & Siblings Group
As part of our work at Finding Rainbows, we have created a rainbow baby and sibling group for parents to access peer support, counselling and group actives when they are ready. We have a private Facebook group (click here to access it) and a WhatsApp group for everyone to chat and support each other.
We offer support from the moment an individual finds out they are expecting another baby, please don't hesitate to reach out for support.
